REFRESHING NAP...

When I open my eyes,

I see the meeting point of seas and the skies.

The waves are desperate to kiss my feet,

I am on an island surrounded with a blue sheet.

The fun loving waves are dancing away to glory,

They aren’t depressed by any sad story.

The sea appears to be so calm,

No fear of any harm.

The creatures are living in a perfect harmony with each other,

Even in unavoidable weather conditions they don’t bother.

Because of the exotic sea breeze I am relaxed,

Water droplets came on me when the fish splashed.

White pigeons are drinking water from the sea,

Are the fishes making fun of me?

In the peaceful Mother Nature’s lap,

I ought to take a refreshing nap...

MY SHADOW

I love my shadow very much,

‘Coz it takes the shape of my touch.

It follows me everywhere,

And has the will to take care.

It is the closest friend of mine,

As we sit together and dine.

We always stay together,

And enjoy the beautiful weather.

I wonder why it is black in colour,

And sometimes shorter and sometimes taller...

The alarm goes off with the morning light,

Guys it’s time to end the fight.

A large production of expletives throughout the night,

The Covid situation out there is already tight,

After dark, the sky says white,

Guys it’s time to end the fight.

Now you decide that did I say right?

Time to exercise and have a balanced diet,

Guys it’s time to end the fight.

Time to grow and capture the height,

Guys it’s time to end the fight.

While eating don’t forget me ‘coz I’ll come to take my bite,

Guys it’s time to end the fight.

Time to locate your dreams with your sight,

Guys it’s time to end the fight.

Life is short, don’t lose time to fight and take your first flight,

Guys it’s finally time to end the fight.

Dear Problem

Problem problem above my head,

Try me once more before you’re dead.

It’s my advice to you not to chase me anymore,

Else get ready to face the consequences when I’ll roar!

My Dreams

Dear dreams I’m ready to chase you with my sight,

One day you’re gonna be mine, right?

From wings of the bird to the neck of giraffe,

Wait for the day when my signature takes the shape of an autograph!

Feeling hopeless and apologetic to me?

Remember the days when you exploited my tree.

Humans why did you ruin me with your pollution?

My kids if you’re regretful then I have a solution.

Leave the darkened room and get my sunlight,

Your body is now ready to fight.

Add fresh fruits and vegetables to your meal,

I’ll make you healthy again and it’s a deal.

Antibody production begins as the condition improves,

Ready to discharge, the doctor approves.

Now a message to the entire humankind,
